All Stonecast quotes are valid for 30 days from date of issue, after which the price of goods and the services rendered may be altered due to fluctuations in our raw material costs.
A 70% deposit is required on acceptance of quotation and prior to commencement of manufacture. All relevant invoice details – like the company name and address and VAT and registration numbers must be supplied via email on acceptance of the quotation.
Balance of payment is due prior to delivery. Manufactured items may be inspected at our factory, if required, before final payment is made.
Stonecast products remain the property of Stonecast until full payment is received.
Stonecast reserves the right to postpone deliveries in adverse weather conditions, and if full payment has not yet been received.
If unreasonable site conditions are not disclosed in advance, then we shall invoice for the extra time on site. Furthermore, if for any reason, the products that are ordered and manufactured are no longer required, we do not offer a refunds, as all orders are purpose-made.
Due to the inherent nature of cast concrete, the client acknowledges and accepts that tonal variations are sometimes evident in the final product and that these are not considered imperfections. The client also acknowledges that concrete is a heavy material, and that they have taken account of this fact.Â
There is an approximate 3-4 week lead time on most orders. This depends on the quantity and nature of the product. The client will be given due notice of approximate lead times for their orders.
If finished products are not collected or delivered within a max. of 10 working days from the date of completion, the client will incur storage costs of R120.00 per item per day. This will need to be settled prior to collection or delivery.Â
Retention fees are not applicable to Stonecast products.
Our products are fully guaranteed for manufacturing faults for a period of 2 years (24 months) from the date of delivery.
These faults will be repaired at no cost to the client , provided they occured within the period stipulated in the guarantee.
Should, however, the product be situated in the public domain and damage or fault occurs, the onus will be on the client to prove that the damage or fault is a result of structural defect and not any other external factors. In the event that damage or fault is found to be caused by any external factor, then Stonecast Manufacturers cannot accept liability or be held liable.
Should damage of any kind occur to the product after the 2 year guarantee period, our products can be successfully repaired on site at a set hourly rate (which includes labour and materials and which is payable up front). Or replaced at full cost depending on the damage incurred. The final cost of repairs will be subject to a quotation at the request of the client.
In the event that damage is caused by our employees, during delivery of the product, Stonecast Manufacturers accepts liability and takes on the responsibility to fully repair or replace said damage.
